Outside, nestled under the acanthus, a rather large pumpkin sits. It has been there for the last week or two, ever since we picked it up from the mother-in-laws. I have been putting off carving it for as long as possible, but will have to start tonight! You might think that because of this I dislike Halloween – but you could be no further from the truth. I love lighting a pumpkin and waiting for the all the groups of children (with their equally dressed up parents) to come to the door.
One thing that I have managed to complete are some Halloween decorations to send to friends. Nothing too tricky, just a couple of needle-felted critters and some colourful, embroidered skull bunting.
