21st Century Girl…

At last, after being given a phone back in July and only managing to charge it and make a phone case, I finally got it working! I have joined Instagram and made my very first post-feel free to join me on a new adventure, particularly if you like pictures without the hassle of having to read my waffle!

My name is Deborah, and my earliest recollection of being creative is learning how to smock at primary school. We had a wonderful, white-haired lady who came in once a week to teach the 'girls' how to sew. I am not sure what the boys got up to during this time - but I never once felt as though I was missing out on anything. Now, as a primary teacher, I often give up evenings to teach enthusiastic children how to embroider. I am now just about to embarked into the world of blogging. Who knows if anyone will be interested, or if I can even keep it up. But here goes....

    Congratulations! I’m kind of a newbie too. Got my first smart phone in February this year after 8 years of using the same old ‘drop it countless times and it still works’ reliable Nokia phone. My kids called it my dinosaur phone, which was a companion to my 8 year old laptop. Couldn’t imagine traveling without a smart phone now…the offline maps are a life saver!
