One final update for 2017…

After a bit of a set back with illness, I have been madly stitching away trying to finish all the little Christmas gifts before the final posting day. This has meant that I have not finished my Christmas Nutcracker Dress! I wanted it for the school Christmas party -but it was not to be this year. So here is my progress so far – who knows if it will be ready for the big day as the arms needs to go in, the hemline stitched, a zip and facing – not to mention a good iron. Ah well, I am afraid that I am signing off now until after the New Year, so you may get to see the finished dress then! Happy stitching to one and all and I hope that you will join me in the New Year as I attempt to finish my first RSN module.

On a final note – here is my little boy looking very pleased with himself and enjoying a little sunshine on the beach. Happy holibobs!DSC_0059

About wybrow1966

My name is Deborah, and my earliest recollection of being creative is learning how to smock at primary school. We had a wonderful, white-haired lady who came in once a week to teach the 'girls' how to sew. I am not sure what the boys got up to during this time - but I never once felt as though I was missing out on anything. Now, as a primary teacher, I often give up evenings to teach enthusiastic children how to embroider. I am now just about to embarked into the world of blogging. Who knows if anyone will be interested, or if I can even keep it up. But here goes....

Happy Christmas Deborah and I hope you are feeling better now. I’m afraid my blogging is on the back burner for a few weeks too. Looking forward to seeing your Jacobean piece again.
