I know that Christmas is over, but I thought you might like to see what my swap partner, Dawn of Positive Dawn, sent to me for the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’ swap. The swap was organised by Tracy of Mad about Bags and the idea was to create 12 gifts that could be opened, 1 day at a time, for each of the 12 days after Christmas. Dawn made many of her gifts which included a tote bag large enough to fit the dog in! A button box for all my sewing threads, a coin purse, a little pouch made from the cutest Dalmatian themed material, and a quilted Christmas table runner.
My favourite gift was a little pin cushion with a lovely sheep design on the front – which as you can see, has been in permanent use ever since.
My collie, Pip, wasn’t left out as he received two new collars and a matching lead. Doesn’t he look smart?
I was also sent….. some lovely local chocolate, a notepad and pen (always useful), a lovely new decoration for my tree and some sewing notions (thread cutters and snippers).
It was great fun having something to open each day – even more so when you know how much effort has gone into each gift. A big thank you to Dawn for taking so much trouble to make my Christmas special and to Tracy for organising the swap. I will certainly look out for this swap again next year.
What a delightful idea!
It was great fun – and made the Christmas festivities last longer!
What lovely gifts! You must have been quite excited to see what each day would bring.
It was a great fun swap!
oh you were totally spoiled with that lovely lot of gifts!
It was a fabulous swap – although I wasn’t saying that as I was putting all my things together before Christmas!
Gorgeous goodies, and such a variety of very interesting and useful gifts. Even Pip got spoiled. How awesome. Have fun with all of the gifts, they are amazing.
🙂
Thank you
