SAL 32: No progress….

Hello everyone, sorry to say that since I have been back in class full time and also preparing on line learning for children at home, I have had very little time to do any stitching at all. So no progress made on my SAL project. I will simply leave you with a picture of where I was up to last time.

I do hope that you are all keeping safe and well and managing to get more sewing time than me! See you in another 3 weeks when I hope to have something to show you.

We are a small group of crafters using a variety of different techniques. Please check out the fabulous stitching by all the other members of the SAL. If you are interested in joining us you can contact Avis for details.

About wybrow1966

My name is Deborah, and my earliest recollection of being creative is learning how to smock at primary school. We had a wonderful, white-haired lady who came in once a week to teach the 'girls' how to sew. I am not sure what the boys got up to during this time - but I never once felt as though I was missing out on anything. Now, as a primary teacher, I often give up evenings to teach enthusiastic children how to embroider. I am now just about to embarked into the world of blogging. Who knows if anyone will be interested, or if I can even keep it up. But here goes....

School will soon be out, and you’ll have a bit more time, so hang in there, and look forward to some extra craft time!

  2. Good embroidery and Happy Summer!

  3. It is really hard right now to find time to stitch. My kids are on summer break so I’ve a bit more time, but now we are playing games and doing puzzles. All great, but not good for finding stitching time.

tantalising photos of what has been accomplished so far!

  5. You can’t do everything at once. If only there were more hours in the day….we’d still manage to fill them all wouldn’t we?

  6. Stay safe, and just think how much you will enjoy stitching when you get to it!

I hope you find time to work on this beautiful piece.

Beautiful piece! Stay strong and healthy and please make some time to pamper yourself…even for just a few minutes 🙂

I love love love this — but it can wait. Stay healthy and take care of yourself!

This makes some of us feel better about ourselves actually. 😉 Hopefully you’ll be able to get back to your needles soon.

What a big commitment you have. We all understand that things are so different for everyone now, so, as the others say, take care of yourself, and stay well.
