Sorry everyone, but I am afraid I have not made any progress with my little blue wren in the last three weeks. I am frantically trying to get all my Christmas sewing finished by the end of October as I have a feeling the post is going to be extra busy this year!
So here is where I was up to last time….

I hope this finds you all well and that you have had more stitching success than I have!
We are a small group of crafters using a variety of different techniques. Please check out the fabulous stitching by all the other members of the SAL. If you are interested in joining us you can contact Avis for details.

Try not to put yourself under too much pressure. Thank you for linking 🙂
Looking forward to some of my own stitching soon.
It’s a busy time of the year, and I suspect you’re right about it being busier than normal.
I just need to get through October and then I think I can start to relax!
hope you’re having fun, with the xmas present making, and it’s not just extra pressure?
I do enjoy it – but it always seems a rush!
She’s beautiful, just waiting to fly, but sometimes life just gets in the way and Christmas is sneaking up fast 🙂
It always does seem to sneak up!
AMAZINGGGG !!
Really kind of you to say so.
Thanks for checking in. Love your bird project. I know how you’re feeling. I have some Christmas projects I am trying to get done too. Boy, the holiday season seemed to creep up rather quickly 🙂
You think you have everything under control and then BAM – it hits you.
It’s always lovely to see your little bird, she will be waiting for you when you are ready! I think you might be right about Christmas this year. I’ve not got organised at all but I keep thinking I should put some thought into it, it’s the first step I suppose! Hope it’s not too hectic for you and that you can still enjoy the making. Crafty hugs, Jenny xx
I don’t know why but this year seems particularly busy as everyone seemed to have babies over the last few years – so it is stocking, bunting, toys and purse making!!
Oh, aren’t you the smart one to be thinking ahead like that? Hmm… I may have to take a page out of your book!
I just never seem to finish on time – no matter when I start!
Goodness, I’ve not even _thought_ about Christmas! You’re making me feel woefully underprepared!
I always run out of time!
No worries, you are ahead of me for sure!
Her time will come and meanwhile she will sit there patiently waiting for you. She is gorgeous so far. Enjoy your holiday makings.
Thank you – she might have to sit and wait quite a while!
It’s a busy time for everyone, the important thing is to embroider serenely …
Hugs,Carmela
Very true!
