Hi everyone, posting later today as I have been trying (all day!) to get my photos to upload from the phone. Since last time I have managed to spend a little time getting more texture onto my little mossy hillock. As you can see I have sewn down eyelets and ruched rayon tape around the edges of the design. The rayon tape is a lovely material to work with and is simply held down with a few stab stitches. I have also added little ribbon wheels made with variegated silk ribbon.

All I have to do now is add some French knots, make up the little pincushion and add the needle lace fungi that I was working on last time we met.
Many thanks for popping in and look forward to catching up in three weeks time.
Happy stitching.

I’ve started emailing my photos to myself from the phone and picking them up on the laptop. These things are sent to try us!
That is what I do, but for some reason it is taking a very long time today.
Ah, in that case, try emailing from one email address to another (if you have two). That sometimes works faster for me.
Thanks, will give it a go. I am afraid that I am a bit of a luddite when it comes to technology!
That mossy hillock is looking wonderful!
Thank you Kathy
wow! so much attention to detail with all those sequins and ribbons!
It was difficult to get a random look – I like symmetrical!
it’s always difficult to get a random look . . . unless you see the state of my hair when I get out of bed in the morning ^^
Ha ha, I know what you mean!
I look at it and I see new things all the time! Stunning!!!!
Thank you.
Lots of lovely detail and texture there. I’m looking forward to the assembly…
So am I – it has been a long time in the coming!
Great progress and your little bird will be so happy to find a home sitting on this little hillock. x
I do hope so!
That’s a beautiful hillock, all the different textures are gorgeous 🙂
Unfortunately I think I have managed to stitch some bits in the wrong place – Oh well, a little bit of reverse stitching is in order!
