I joined a sewalong on IG hosted by Larisa of @stitchingnotes and Irina of @nordicrafter. The end product was a surprise, only being revealed a section at a time. It was super fun and we finally ended up with a lovely little dumpling pouch. I got a little carried away and made quite a few – but they will be put away and given as gifts at a later date. Here is a little work in progress……………
The final pouches looked like this……
The pouches came together very quickly and were easy to personalise. I think I might make a few more to put away!
My name is Deborah, and my earliest recollection of being creative is learning how to smock at primary school. We had a wonderful, white-haired lady who came in once a week to teach the 'girls' how to sew. I am not sure what the boys got up to during this time - but I never once felt as though I was missing out on anything.
Now, as a primary teacher, I often give up evenings to teach enthusiastic children how to embroider.
I am now just about to embarked into the world of blogging. Who knows if anyone will be interested, or if I can even keep it up. But here goes....
they are gorgeous !
Thank you Claire
You’ve created some really delightful pouches here – I’m sure the eventual recipients will be chuffed to bits!
Thank you
