My birthday was a little while ago – in fact it falls on National Embroidery Day, which I always think is very apt for me! I have recently joined a small group of ladies on IG who take part in a birthday swap. There are 11 of us in total, split into two groups. We each make a gift for everyone in our group and a card for the second group. I had the most amazing birthday this year filled with the most wonderful handmade gifts and cards – which I thought you might like to see…..
I was just so spoilt. Now it’s my turn to put something together for one of the other ladies!
Thank you for popping in. Happy stitching!

About wybrow1966
My name is Deborah, and my earliest recollection of being creative is learning how to smock at primary school. We had a wonderful, white-haired lady who came in once a week to teach the 'girls' how to sew. I am not sure what the boys got up to during this time - but I never once felt as though I was missing out on anything.
Now, as a primary teacher, I often give up evenings to teach enthusiastic children how to embroider.
I am now just about to embarked into the world of blogging. Who knows if anyone will be interested, or if I can even keep it up. But here goes....
What a lovely selection! Belated Happy Birthday!
thank you – I felt so spoilt
